Sales at One World Market provide a sustainable source of fair pay that helps ensure a living wage for thousands of people in developing areas. One World Market is Durham's only non-profit store devoted exclusively to the mission of fair trade.The store features hand-made crafts and artwork created by craftspeople from 50 countries that are struggling economically. We also sell items from impoverished regions of the United States.

 

We purchase from suppliers that adhere to the internationally accepted principles of fair trade:

  • Long-term relationships between artisans and buyers
